Functionalization of carbon nanohorns (CNHs) overcomes insolubility problems and enhances manipulation and processibility. In this context, methodologies for the solubilization of CNHs by diverse strategies are presented in terms of covalent association and non-covalent supramolecular interacting organic moieties.
